Class Descriptions

Multi-level Yoga

Multi-level yoga is a traditional yoga class designed for all levels of practitioner.
You will experience a variety of poses and be introduced to different breathing
techniques.
Beginner students will be given modifications of the poses so that they can
practice at a comfortable level. More advanced students are given variations of
poses so that they can begin to expand their practice. This allows everybody
who wishes to attend the time slot to have an enjoyable and meaningful practice.

Gentle Yoga/ Gentle Yoga Stretch

Our gentle classes are for those who are working with range of motion issues,
arthritis, injury or are simply looking for a gentler practice. Beginners are
welcome at these classes as well. You will be introduced to a number of stretches
and range of motion exercises as well as the complete yoga breath.

Hypno-yoga Weight Loss

This class is specifically for weight management. Yoga poses and exercises will
help you to reach your 30 daily minutes of physical movement for health. A
directed hypnosis relaxation will help you to subconsciously address the issues
the prevent you from achieving your personal, ideal body fitness.

Mantra & Pranayama Meditations

These classes are seated meditations. Mantra work, or chanting, helps us to
focus the mind so that we can more readily still it for meditation. Pranayama, or
breath work, is a study of different breathing techniques and their effect of the
state of the mind. These practices help us to develop a regular meditation
practice so that we can become more balanced, peaceful and happy.

Kundalini

Kundalini yoga is a system of exercises and breath techniques crafted to bring
about whole being awareness. The focus is on bringing the primal, creative
energy up the spine so that we can achieve union with the True Identity. This is
a very spiritual, very practical experience.
